We were proud to have Mr. Saptarshi Gayen, Indian Nature Enthusiast and a wildlife photographer for a speaker session with us✨
🔅The session began with the introduction of the speaker, who afterward explained wildlife photography and conservation with a beautiful presentation.
🔅He discussed some techniques to make the photograph eye-catchy and post-processing techniques some of which are Zoomburst, Double exposure, Combination of both, Image overlay, Camera movement.
🔅He talked about the camera gears and other accessories needed for wildlife photography, the different settings available, and their usage.
🔅He also gave some tips about the best time to click pictures and shared his experience.
🔅At last, he contemplated some images of our volunteers and guide them.
It was an insightful session and would surely help all the photography enthusiasts to hone their skills📸

Summary :
We are extremely thankful to all our attendees for today’s session with Dr. Pranab J Patar. We are elated to celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day with the sir and discuss issues over environment. The session was joined by more than 50 students across the Delhi University.
Sir talked about many environmental issues and focused on Sustainable approach to tackle them.
The following are the main points for today’s session:
- Sustainable Development Goals- is a mainstream for environmental rehabilitation and future sustenance in the field of environment.
- Mitigation measures are measures used to reduce a particular problem in environment. For eg, India aims to reduce carbon emission in ecological rules.
- The best adaptive measures is “nature based solutions”.
- Just like many sectors of an economy, Green Sector is a new sector introduced in the economy which is growing rapidly. It focuses on environment and economics.
Environmental entrepreneurs- a new field to introduce start-ups which will aim to reduce environmental hazards. - Change begins at home and to improve the scenario of environment, we’ve to work collaboratively and heal the wounds of environment.
- Sustainable approach should be introduced in daily lives by introducing minor changes in our lifestyle.

Greetings from Haritima – The Environmental Awareness Society Of Hansraj College and Lowsoot 🌱
For the second Green Talk under the third version of the Adopt A Plant drive , we had with us Mr Kapil Mandawewala , the founder and CEO Of Edible Routes.🌻
🌸We had a detailed discussion about the need to focus on from where and how our food reaches us
🌸How gardening at its most basic level can help us in waste management
🌸Seasonality of the foods , it’s impact on the environment and on the nutritional value of the food itself.
🌸How gardening can help bring together communities and inculcate collective actions .
The session ended with some tips about growing manure at home and certain points that should be kept in mind while taking care of plants 🌿
It was a really insightful session and helped us to nurture the green thoughts in green minds ✨

We are extremely grateful to all of our participants for making the session with Maitri Bheda ma’am on the topic ‘Magical World of Plants’ a successful and memorable experience. ✨
She talked about:
🌱Phytochemicals importance in our daily lives
🌱The need to propagate, preserve and promote ‘Herbal Remedies’ in the current era.
🌱Annually she organizes a course on “Foundational Course on Plant-Based Skincare” on her digital venture particularly emphasizing on how we can equip our lives with herbal products.
🌱She focused on current scenarios on environment.
🌱Her main aim is to teach the youth population about the Practical Approach towards Plants and their Products, equating it with the direct and indirect benefits of plants on human beings.
