- Burning of dry leaves, plastic material, paper, etc., should not be encouraged. The harmful gases released from this lead to many fatal hazardous problems in the ecosystem.

- Fitting catalyst converter in automobiles.
- Encouraging afforestation
- Fitting electrical converters in industry to treat harmful gases coming out from chimneys of mega chemical and industrial factories.
- Production of electric cars should be encouraged.

- Strict laws should be implemented.
water pollution
- Dumping of waste whether biodegradable or non-biodegradable should be prohibited.
- Washing clothes, domestic utensils, bathing cows and other animals, etc. other domestic activities should not be encouraged because hazardous chemicals released from detergents and soaps have a permanent effect on water.
- Industrial and household waste should not be flushed into the water bodies directly. It should go through Primary as well as Secondary Treatment before dumping into water bodies.
- Agricultural lands should not consume fertilizers and pesticides as they enter into rivers and seas via water erosion.
- Sewage Treatment Plants should be built in Districts.
For example: Yamuna River is being in its filthy state due to the constant dumping of waste. Recent advances in technology have been implemented to heal the river and the results are positive. Even in the recent pandemic/nationwide lockdown, the river has healed naturally.
soil pollution
- Excavation and subsequent transportation of polluted soils to remote, uninhabited locations.
- Extraction of pollutants via thermal remediation – the temperature is raised in order to force the contaminants into the vapour phase, after which they can be collected through vapour extraction.
- Bioremediation or phytoremediation involves the use of microorganisms and plants for the decontamination of soil.
- Mycoremediation involves the use of fungi for the accumulation of heavy metal contaminants.
- Planting trees help in tackling the problem of unwanted soil erosion.
noise pollution
- The industries should be fitted with noise prove materials.
- Unnecessary and unwanted honking should not be done.
- Jet planes and other supersonic airplanes should never fly over domestic residential areas.
- Proper coordination should be implemented in public spaces like malls, railway stations, airports, etc.
- Government should implement strict laws along with strict ranges of noise limits.
For example: Nowadays hotels are developing soundproof rooms to reduce the amount of noise generated when hotels are crowded especially during tourist season.
radioactive pollution
- Proper disposal is necessary or else it could be fatal to the nearby community.
- Usually, it is encouraged to bury nuclear wastes in a lead sealed box beneath 3-4km of Earth.
- Radioactive waste should never be left open in a public or domestic space.
- A radioactive product should never be mixed with a non-radioactive substance.
- Since they radiate harmful rays, they should never be thrown into oceans and seas.
- Natural resources should be used and the inclination towards radioactive and nuclear energy should be as limited as possible.
industrial pollution
- Proper disposal of liquid, as well as solid waste, is necessary.
- The waste should be treated first and all the heavy metals like mercury, lead, etc. should be removed.
- Chemical factories should take important and government laid precautions to combat unnecessary fire incidents.
For example: Bhopal Gas Tragedy of December 1984 claimed many lives. The leak of methyl isocyanate from Union Carbide Private limited- a private chemical factory. This incident is considered historical most tragic incident. The reason was later interrupted as mishandling of chemicals.
