On 30th August 2024, a cleanliness drive was organised in Hansraj College and was made possible through the concerted efforts of Project A Million More volunteers and the dedicated college housekeeping staff. It aimed to enhance the cleanliness and aesthecs of the campus by targeng specific areas that required aenon.

Areas Covered:

1. Mi Cafe: The heart of socializaon and refreshments, Mi Cafe received special aenon. The cleanliness drive commenced with the windows area. It was thoroughly cleaned, making it a more enjoyable place for students to unwind.. Volunteers and staff diligently cleaned that area removing accumulated dust and dirt, disposing off waste le on tables and convincing students to maintain cleanliness. 

2. LP Area: The LP area, oen bustling with student acvies, was transformed. Parcipants cleared lier and ensured a clean, green space for all to enjoy. Volunteers interacted with Freshers and introduced them with our society leaving them with message maintain cleanliness in campus area.

3. C-Block: Known for its modern design and immaculate cleanliness, C Block has quickly become a favorite spot for students to gather, study, and collaborate. Whether you’re here for a lecture, a study session, or just to soak in the vibrant campus atmosphere, you’ll find C Block to be a hub of energy and learning. Here members of our society engaged with students and told them about our society and spreading message to maintain cleanliness.

Impact and Conclusion: 

The cleanliness drive started at 11am and lasted for two hours . It le a profound impact on the college campus. It not only enhanced the visual appeal but also created a more hygienic and pleasant atmosphere for students and staff alike. The collaborave spirit displayed by Project A Million More volunteers, Society Members and college housekeeping staff was exemplary, showcasing the importance of community efforts in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

The success of this drive serves as a testament to what can be achieved when like-minded individuals and
organizaons come together with a shared purpose. It is hoped that this iniave will inspire more such
endeavours, not just in Hansraj College but throughout the community.

 As we look to the future, let us remember that small acts of cleanliness can lead to a big change in our
surroundings. The Hansraj College cleanliness drive of 30th August 2024, is a shining example
of this potenal.
